The Computer Engineering program emphasizes plan, design, analysis, implementation, construct of computer systems automation and applications that involves hardware, software or both and also provides a foundation of basic engineering sciences.

The program includes subjects in computer hardware fundamentals, computer aided design, computer electronics, computer based automation development and design, embedded systems, industrial and control systems, networking, web engineering, development and design, information technology (IT) security, robotics/automation, mechatronics, intelligent systems and systems development and design. The program is intended for those interested in computer automation and computer systems engineering that involve hardware, software or both.

As the College of Engineering visioning to be “One of the leading institutions in the region in the field of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) and Engineering and the graduates are prepared, equipped and competent in their fields of specialization for professional careers in the ICT and/or Engineering industry with their expertise in plan, design, analysis, implementation, construct of computer automation, computer applications and computer systems that involves hardware, software or both.”
