Message from the Dean

In behalf of the faculty members, employees, and administration, I would like to welcome everybody to the College of Criminology, “Top Performing School for Topnotch Criminologists.” The College of Criminology is one of the youngest among the several offerings of the institution, which started in School Year 2000 -2001 envisioned by the late President, Carlos R. Mojares, to provide quality education at affordable cost among Lipenos and its surrounding community. All faculty members are board topnotchers, former practitioners or presently employed as professional criminologists in the PNP Crime Laboratory and the National Bureau of Investigation, they are the trainors in their respective field. The College also boasts complete Laboratory facilities and top of the line equipment/instruments which enables its students to a well rounded theoretical and practical knowledge of the science of criminology. Today, the College is one of the only three (3) schools in the CALABARZON Region accredited by Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) for quality education based on qualifications of teachers, programs, and facilities.

Since August 2004 Licensure Examination for Criminologists, the first time that our graduates took the examination, Lipa City Colleges has been a consistent top performers nationwide and producer of individual topnotchers. In its first batch, Mr. Jonathan C. Recto placed third, in 2010 Alberto Emmanuel S. Dumaguin placed second, and in 2011 Anthony B. Penid placed fifth. In March 2012 Licensure Examination, 100% (39 out of 39) of its graduates passed, making LCC the top performing school nationwide.

Presently, Lipa City Colleges is the biggest Criminology School in the province and among the biggest in the CALABARZON Region. Anyone who wishes to become the best in the field of criminology, such as future law enforcers, security managers, jail and fire officers, and their allied fields, is invited to be part of our College and enjoys “Our Advantage, Your Assurance” of better Criminology Education.
