RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSION SERVICES
Attract/invite students from different schools (public and private) through Career Guidance and also assist the Registrar on screening the entrants during the enrolment periods through testing and interview.
INFORMATION/ORIENTATION SERVICES
Provide students with appropriate educational, occupational/vocational, social and personal data needed to understand themselves better and their environment. This program includes information dissemination through seminars, lectures, and meetings with teachers and administrators as well as parents and students.
INDIVIDUAL INVENTORY SERVICES
Update and keep account of the records of each student for counseling purposes, also to impact self-knowledge and self-realization on the learners. This is designed to gather relevant information on student’s adjustment and development for their functional use.
COUNSELING SERVICE
Addresses the needs of students in coping up with and/or enhancing their personal growth through a person-to-person relationship of counselor and counselee. This is done individually or by group through referrals, walk-ins and routine interviews.
Peer Counselors Service
Assists and helps the counselor in the counseling of their fellow students especially on cases where being a student is an advantage or necessary. They are properly trained and fully equipped with knowledge in basic counseling and facilitating skills.
TESTING SERVICE
Assesses and evaluates the students’ strengths and weaknesses in areas measured for self-understanding and sound decisions for their personal life and career.
Tests serve as evaluative technique in the assessment of student’s well being. It helps in the evaluation of students through psychological, personality and aptitude testing after which the results can be used in the provision of technique and ways of meeting their needs. The test used by the college for admission both for high school and college are standardized tests. Non-standardized tests are given for taking the scholarship program of the college.
PLACEMENT SERVICE
Provides services in the areas of job preparation and placement activities to prepare students to their entry into professional life.
RESEARCH SERVICE
Utilizes and maximizes student’s data through assessment of needs, interests and achievements which are useful in the enhancement and evaluation of the effectiveness of the services of the office.
FOLLOW-UP SERVICE
One of the measures of the effectiveness of the counseling is through follow-up. It enables the counselor learn on how far he needs to reach for help to the counselee. Follow-up service is not only applicable to the old/new/transferee students of the college but also those who have for one reason left the institution before graduation.
