Palaro 2012 to feature “Clash of the Titans”
(Dated Posted: 07/24/2012)
Expect the unexpected as Palaro 2012 takes the limelight on July 25-28, 2012 at LCC gymnasium and quadrangle.
This years theme: “One Team, One Goal: It's more fun in LCC”, coincides with the institution's 65 years of honing individuals to be competitive not only in academics but also in sports.
Expect the “Clash of the Titans”, who wants to rule supreme in different sports events to be competed such as athletics, badminton, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, and swimming. Defending over-all champion, College of Hospitality Management (CHM) aims to defend their crown and build dynasty in the college. College of Criminology (COC), last year's runner-up wants to prove its dominance and reclaim its lost glory, while last year's 2nd runner-up College of Business Education and Accountancy (CBEA) also wants to prove something and regain the over-all crown it held two years ago.
Through this Palaro, Dr. Rey Uriel Domalaon, the Director for Culture and Sports, aims to tap potential athletes to carry the banner of the LCC Blazing Hawks in various sporting events in the region, specially the Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA) meet.
