The College of Nursing of the Lipa City Colleges has proven to be not only the biggest in terms of population but in fact the brightest when it comes to knowing a lot about nursing theories and applications. Last November 24, 2009, four LCC Nursing students have conquered the arena of mind warriors vying for the crown to become masters in the “Battle of the Minds”, a Nursing Quiz Bee held at De La Salle Lipa.

Freshman Gilyn Quinto, sophomore Fatima Ayub, junior Jayson Salvanera, and senior Jeffrey Olan, together with their Dean and mentor, Dr. Dulce Libuit, have proudly brought home the bacon as they emerged champion in the said quiz bee. The winning students answered each and every question with utmost confidence and mastery, particularly as they advance to a more difficult round. There were six Nursing schools from Batangas which participated. Lyceum-St. Cabrini comes in second, and First Asia Institute of Technology & Humanities (FAITH) copped the third place.

The winning is definitely a strong proof that Nursing education at LCC is of highest quality and definitely one of the best in the region.
