LCC and Bert Lozada Swim School tie up for School Swimming Programs
Recently, the Lipa City Colleges has constructed its own 25-meter, 8-lane swimming facilities located at the Annex Building. It makes LCC the only school in Batangas which has its own swimming facilities that will serve as an additional service to its students and will also give opportunity to those who have talent in swimming. And to maximize the usage and potential of the said facility, it has partnered with the country’s #1 swim school, the Bert Lozada Swim School, which is known for training champions who compete in tournaments like the SEA Games and Olympics. The Bert Lozada Swim School, headed by its main trainor Anthony Lozada, has developed a strong swimming program for LCC which will be incorporated in all its PE classes for both high school and college starting school June of this year. Trainors from the Lozada Swim School will team teach with LCC’s own PE instructors in handling the PE swimming classes. Part of the program as well is the formation of a swimming varsity team to be personally handled by Lozada. Definitely, the swimming competency that the students will acquire is one big advantage that they would have that only LCC can give them.
There is also an ongoing summer swimming program which started last April 12, 2010. It has four batches which will end on May 29, 2010. The summer swimming program is open for everybody whose age ranges from 4 years old and above. The fee is at Php2,250 inclusive of the registration fee good for one year. For those interested to enroll in the summer swimming program, please visit the Marketing Communications Office or call (043) 7561943, and look for Ms. Corina Fabellon.
