After a two year hiatus, Mr. and Ms. LCC made its comeback at a launching held at the school�s quadrangle, July 11.

The candidates of each department were presented at the said program. Their parents went full force in support of their respective children. They, along with the particular department heads assisted in the pinning of the sash for the contestants.

Mr. Nilo M. Burgos, chairman of the search provided the audience its mechanics. �All the proceeds of this fund raising event will go to the scholarship programs of the academe�, he added. Special numbers from the LCC Idol kept the crowd alive.

In connection with this, the first canvassing of the competition took place at the same venue, August 7. The initial counting happened as part of the four function of the recognition of outstanding students, general induction of officers and the presentation of scholars

The College of Business Education and Accountancy top notched the primary canvassing. They cashed in P5400 and P6300 for their Mr. and Ms LCC hopefuls. The future criminologists settled at the second place putting up P3900 each for both contenders. Soliciting in the same amount of P 3300, Mr. and Ms. Hospitality Management ranked third.

The final canvassing of the search will be held at the 60th Foundation Day of the institution come October 30.
