Mr. Carlos R. Mojares, Lipa City Colleges� President, turned 73 last August 31. In celebration of the occasion, an Institutional Mass was held at the Gymnasium at 4pm. The mass was officiated by Msgr. Alfredo Madlangbayan, with Father Joseph Rodem Ramos and Father Hermogenes Quiambao acting as co-celebrants. After the mass, Msgr. Madlangbayan personally congratulated the birthday celebrator for the many fruitful years of his life and wished him many more years of good health and great works. Mr. Mojares responded by expressing this gratefulness for all that he has achieved and gone through and thanked his family and the LCC community for their well wishes. The mass was followed by a sumptuous dinner shared by Mr. Mojares and his family- wife and Board of Trustees Co-Chair, Ms. Glecy M. Mojares, daughters Ms. Marjorie M. Abiera (Vice President for Finance and Internal Affairs) and Ms. Beverly M. Mendoza (Vice President for Students and External Affairs), sons-in law Joe Vincent J. Abiera (Vice President for Administrative and Corporate Affairs) and Patrick D. Mendoza (Vice President for General Services) and grandchildren, with the Academic Council as well as the entire teaching and non-teaching force of the school. Friends of the celebrator were also in attendance and specially prepared song numbers both from the President�s friends and members of the LCC community were rendered while dinner was being served.
