LCC Gears Up for Further Development

Pushing further after achieving a PACUCOA Level I Accredited Status in a number of its offered programs, LCCs top brass poised for the institutions broader spectrum of progress by engaging in a Strategic Planning that aimed to lay down important goals and corresponding measures to achieve such in the next five years. Commencing on February, the Planning consisted of a series of meetings / brainstorming sessions headed by Vice Presidents Joe Vincent J. Abiera (Administrative and Corporate Affairs) and Marjorie M. Abiera (Finance and Internal Affairs) and participated in by the Heads of the different departments as well as the Human Resources Development Office. These efforts resulted in the identification of Key Result Areas (KRA) that needed to be addressed for a beefed-up and more efficient delivery of quality services offered by the institution. A committee that shall oversee the formulated Five-year Development Plan via the monitoring and assessment of identified Key Performance Indicators (KPI) was likewise formed with Dr. Linda Platero, College Dean, as the appointed head. A few of the areas underscored in the plan are improved infrastructures and facilities, a more efficient internal system, more highly qualified faculty roster, and the development of new programs and curricula.

Above-mentioned planning and its expected outcomes were sealed last March 27, 2024 via a commitment signing of the plan that was participated in by the key persons mentioned earlier.

In relation, LCC is also preparing for the 1st PACUCOA Visit for Application for Accreditation of its Accountancy, Criminology, and Nursing Programs. Such is tentatively scheduled on August of this year.
