LCC Turns 61: Founders Commemorated, Outstanding Employees Honored

In celebration of its 61st Foundation, LCC called its classes off on November 21-22 to give way to its Annual Employees� Day. The observance commenced with a Eucharistic Celebration held at the school�s Chapel and officiated by Father Rodem Ramos. In attendance were the faculty and staff of the institution who, after the mass, trooped to Kabayan Beach Resort at Laiya, San Juan, Batangas for the Employees� Day. Free time for relaxation and fun games prepared by the Human Resources Office stapled the afternoon of the 21st and this was capped off by the awarding of certificates of recognition and cash incentives to outstanding teaching and non-teaching staff based on the results of their Performance Evaluation for School Year 2007-2008. Special citations were also given to Mr. Nilo Burgos, Chairperson of the College of Business Education and Accountancy), Dr. Dulce Libuit (Nursing), and Mr. Alexander Muria (Criminology), for the outstanding performance of their departments in the latest PRC Licensure Examinations. School President Mr. Carlos R. Mojares, Board of Trustees Vice-Chair Glecy Mojares, Vice President for Administration and Corporate Affairs Joe Vincent Abiera and Vice President for Finance and Internal Affairs Marjorie Abiera handed out the awards and incentives.
